Every TableCraft piece starts with hand-selected boards from FSC-certified South African sawmills. We mill, sand and oil each top locally, join it to a steel or hardwood frame, and ship to your door — flat-packed with clear instructions or fully assembled by our white-glove team in greater Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Mortise-and-tenon joinery on hardwoods, TIG-welded steel on industrial designs.
Finish
Hand-sanded to 220 grit, sealed with food-safe hardwax oil.

Flat-packed in heavy-duty cardboard, couriered nationwide in 5–10 days.

Where do you ship?
We courier across all nine South African provinces. Free shipping on orders over R2,500; otherwise a flat R250 nationwide.
How long does delivery take?
5–10 business days depending on province. Cape Town and greater Johannesburg are usually fastest at 3–5 days.
Do I have to assemble it myself?
No — every table can be shipped fully assembled at the same lead time, or flat-packed with printed Step-by-step instructions. Select on the inquiry form.
What if I need a custom size?
We make every piece to order in our Cape Town workshop. Submit an inquiry with your dimensions and we'll quote within 24 hours.
Is the wood treated for SA sun & humidity?
Yes. All tops are sealed with food-safe hardwax oil which is re-applied yearly for coastal humidity. Indoor use only.
